Clematis – when to cut back?
Stupid question I know but clematis now in bloom (large dark purple flowers) but don’t if this is called spring/summer flowering!
I would appreciate advice on when and how to care for this climber.

how do i treat my clematis for the winter should i cut it back?
it is in a pot and i live where we have strong frosts ,the plant is very slim but over 2 metres tall and was covered with flower the whole summer long
