Can I Somehow Grow Roses From Seeds From A Bouquet Given Me?
I have saved a dried bouquet of roses that means a lot to me and would like to grow roses from that exact bouquet…Does anyone know if this works? If it is possible, if you’ve done it, then how? Thanks in advance for your help…
If the roses are already dried, you can’t get anything out of them now. It’s hardly likely that they have formed a seed pod (called hips) in a bouquet.
You CAN sometimes get the rose in the bouquet to let out roots, and can plant those. I know a lady that has a couple of rose bushes outside her door, all from roses she was given and which she rooted. They always won’t do it, but worth a try.
As for these, sorry — you’ll just have to enjoy them as they are now, and try to keep your memories.
If they’re dried already, they can’t. Really sorry.
It is too late for those roses, but an idea would be to take them to a rose grower, ask them to suggest roses the same as or similar to those used in the bouquet, and then order a few bushes of those roses for your garden.
