Names of plants or flowers for a Ruby Wedding anniversary?
There must be a few plants with “ruby” in the name, do you know of anything that would make a great 40th anniversary present? I’ve found a rose bush online but just thinkg about other options and have no idea about plants generally. Any suggestions much appreciated!

Is this a box with soil and plants that will grow and prosper in it OR a flower arrangement with rootless stems that will die in a few weeks?
Is there a special name for flower arranging bowls?
I’m looking for one of those round glass bowls that are used for flower arranging, they have a metal cover which is a mesh, people usually put that green foam in the bottom and then stick flowers in and they stick out through the holes in the mesh.
I want to find one for a birthday present – I’ve searched online but can’t find anything. If I say ‘glass bowl’ that’s obviously too vague but if I add more info eg ‘flower arrangement’ I get nothing.
So I was wondering if they have a special name I could search with?
I knew if I tried searching for ‘rose bowl’ there’d be a lot of sports stuff 
but I couldn’t find any pics of what I wanted, so thanks for the links.

Porcelain marks – does anyone know who the manufacturer is?
I have a very small and delicate coffee cup set in fine porcelain with gold edging. The only mark on the bottom is a capital ‘N’ encircled with a laurel wreath? I cannot find any information on this – does anyone recognise this at all?

Should I remove the male flowers from my cucumber plants and how do I know which is which?
I have two burpless cucumber plants they have yellow flowers close to the stem at the bottom of the plant and what look like mini cucumbers with flowers on the end that havent flowered yet. I have been told I have to remove the male flowers or the fruit will be bitter but which is which as if I remove the wrong one there will be no cucumbers. Please help!
