How Many Flowers Does It Take To Make A Bouquet?
Ok, so I plan on ordering from bulk floral and doing all the bouquets for my wedding. How many flowers does it take to make a bridal bouquet?? I know it depends on the flower, but lets say standard roses??
How many flowers for my bouquet and how many flowers for my bridesmaid bouquet?
Also does anyone know of any good wholesale flower websites??
While I do not know of a wholesale flower shop you could go through a local florist and ask them to order for you, they may give you a discount for promoting local business.
As for the flowers I think it depends on the formality and theme/ style of your wedding. My wedding is an environmentally friendly Irish theme so my bouquets are going to be very small with the bridesmaids possibly not holding any at all. I have seen some brides carry the roses across their arms much as a beauty or prom queen and still others with huge bouquets. A traditional bouquet with standard roses I would think should contain about 20 to 25 roses. The size should also compliment your body type and your dress. Its not a hard and fast rule but more of a personal option.
